The Fire Protection Industry descended upon Denver, Colorado this Fall for the American Fire Sprinkler Association’s annual conference and expo and General Air Products was thrilled to take part. AFSA 43 saw seminars and info sessions on today’s most pertinent Fire Sprinkler trends and updates, plenty of networking cocktails and social events, and, of course, the big expo full of industry professionals showing off their latest products.
General Air Products President, Ray Fremont Jr led a packed seminar in which he broke down the science behind the Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor technology used in General Air’s UL Listed Vapor Pipe Shield. He spoke on the efficacy and safety of the technology and explained the hows, whys, and whens for installing the Vapor Pipe Shield in dry and pre-action sprinkler systems.
For those looking to get up close and personal with the Vapor Pipe Shield, General Air Products had the equipment set up in one of our two exhibition booths on the expo floor so people could get a closer look. The VPS was nestled in between General Air’s line of fire protection air compressors, too. Over at our second booth, attendees could take a look at the H2hOme®, our NFPA 13D residential pump and tank system. There was something for everybody!
AFSA 43 was an excellent and productive event — and we’re already looking forward to what #44 will have in store.
